The Eagle Agitator Transfer Hopper was designed to store and discharge difficult to handle materials such as regrinds, fluff, strapping chips, and Styrofoam. The internal agitator sweep arms are strategically positioned to keep material moving into the horizontal auger discharge trough. Material discharge from the trough auger can be fed into a vacuum takeaway box, bucket elevator, blower (air), or a vertical

auger take-away system.

 

Various capacities and take-away systems can be specified. Separate motors and drive trains are used for the agitator and trough auger discharge. The drive train is completely covered for safety. On/off switches are provided for both motors. Optional material level indicators, access door, magnet grates, cyclone receiving unit, and hinged covers are available.

 

Standard Design:

· Internal Agitator Shaft/Sweep Arms driven by high torque gear motor.

· Horizontal discharge auger driven by direct drive gear motor.

· Motor horsepower depends on auger size specified and type of material transferred.

· Construction is heavy duty 14 gauge mild steel walls with a solid core trough auger in 12 gauge mild steel trough.

· Heavy duty ball-bearing assemblies for agitator shaft and auger discharge.

· Finish: Eagle Gray Scratch Resistant Enamel, or Cust. Spec.

Options:

· Trough auger 6, 8, and 9 inch diameter.

· Removable inspection plate in  dispensing end of discharge auger.

· Take-away vertical inclined auger at dispensing end.

· Take-away vacuum distribution box at dispensing end.

· Take-away bucket elevator at dispensing end.

· Inspection door built into side wall for cleaning access.

· Construction in stainless steel available.

· Custom built units for specific non-free flowing materials.

· Hinged covers or one-piece lids.
